You will get: The Hybrid X putter excels at being used as a greenside golf club when players are uncomfortable with using their wedges. The longer shaft length and flatter lie angle may allow golfers to set up more naturally and make a more relaxed putting stroke. By approaching putting from a new angle, golfers may find that their visual interpretation of their putting lines are easier to see and more accurate.

Putting is one of the most difficult things to master in golf. Having options and getting your stroke to be as natural as possible can help many players who are struggling with hitting their putts the right speed or starting them online. Hybrid X Putter Detailed Review

Design and Technology

Designed after many of the hybrid golf clubs amateur players love, the Hybrid X putter can simply your short game both on and off the green. The Hybrid X is a longer putter that encourages a more natural posture and an arc that is lower to the ground. For some players this may lead to a face that starts the golf ball on their intended line more consistently.

Specs

The Hybrid X putter comes standard in 39 inches with a 56 degree lie angle. For reference, the “standard” hybrid length is between 39 and 41 inches with a 56 to 59 degree lie angle. The Hybrid X can be found online and comes in either silver or black.

Our Experience

The Hybrid X putter is unlike any putter we have tested before. Because of the unconventional setup with the FGX Hybrid X, I did observe a difference in both my putting posture and putting motion. Putting from just off the green and out of very difficult lies on fringes were also easier with the longer shaft. Truthfully, I am a golfer that enjoys a slightly more upright putting stroke, so the Hybrid X tested me on short putts. Lag putting became more natural as my vision to the hole resembled chipping or pitching. I think for players that are seeking something that can change their putting game this can be it. The Hybrid X is unlike anything I have seen and for a subset of golfers that can be a great thing.
