Driver: Ping G400 Max (10.5 degrees))
Shaft: Project X HZRDUS 63 grams 6.5-flex
Ping continues to raise the bar when it comes to producing incredible drivers and the Ping G400 Max is a prime example. The G400 Max driver gives players additional distance by adding forgiveness and confident stability. The large 460cc head was created with Ping’s Dragonfly Technology; which means a thinner crown and a lowered CG position. The G400 has a beautiful domed crown with integrated bolder turbulators for reduced drag to generate impressive clubhead speed and velocity. The Ping G400 Max is one of the best drivers on the market, offering phenomenal features to improve any player’s game.
- The newer thin crown and strategically positioned CG, maximize MOI for longer, straighter drives.
- A textured face increases friction and reduces ball spin.

- A forged face flexes more to improve ball speed for consistently long and straight drives.

Additionally, the fairway wood has a variable thickness face insert, which gives off-center shots greater distance, making it a very forgiving wood. The Titleist 917F2’s softer feel and more muted sound than most fairway woods on the market make it a top choice for players on the Tour.
The Titleist 915F fairway wood features a shallow face to deliver long distance and all around performance off the tee and turf. Irons: National Custom Works (3-9 iron)
The irons that Jason currently has in his bag are fully customized by National Custom Works. You can reach them on their website: http://nationalcustomworks.com/master-craftsmen. There are very few details about the set of irons customized to Jason’s request. The 4- and 5-iron are kind of a lower CG profile, and the 6-iron through pitching wedge are more of a mid-CG profile. It was noted that Jason wanted something to knock it down and fly the ball a little bit flatter with the 6 through pitch, and then with the 4 and 5, he was looking for something a little easier to launch and hold greens.
