PRGR Black launch monitor Detailed Review

Design and Technology

The PRGR launch monitor uses doppler radar to track the speed of golf clubs and golf balls as they are in flight. Results can be seen on an LCD screen. The PRGR is battery powered for portability. The PRGR can also keep track of up to 500 shots so you can compare your results over time.

Specs:

The PRGR is available online and sold alongside SuperSpeed’s golf training system. The PRGR is a doppler-based radar unit with battery power. An LCD shows users the results for club head speeds and estimated golf ball distances. A carry case, batteries, and an instruction manual are included for no added charge with the PRGR Black monitor.

Our Experience

The PRGR makes a great tool for monitoring things like swing speed, especially during swing training exercises. I used the PRGR alongside my SuperSpeed training system to see how I was progressing every other day. I found the PRGR to be consistent and highly accurate when compared to more expensive units in terms of swing speed measurements. The PRGR can also be used to track golf ball distances however the accuracy seems to suffer when compared to more robust units.
