Driver: TaylorMade M4 (10.5 degrees)

Shaft: Mitsubishi Diamana White LEX D+ 70TX Prototype

TaylorMade is known for precision engineering to enhance performance and the TaylorMade M4 shows it. This driver is packed with numerous features including Twist Face technology, a new Hammerhead Slot, and Geocoustic sole design. Combining these features gives the M4 incredible distance due to a much larger sweet spot. First, the Twist Face is arranged to reduce side spin and deliver straighter shots. This is accomplished by providing more loft in the high-toe and less loft in the low-heel which results in a more consistent spin in common mishits. Secondly, the Hammerhead Slot further enlarges the sweet spot and increases the ball speed low on the face while preventing unwanted spin for added distance. Finally, the integrated Geocoustic technology reduces sole volume and enables a larger, more forgiving face allowing players to make consistent drives. This is a phenomenal driver and by offering the high performing features that players seek, it’s certain that the TaylorMade M4 will be a favorite on Tour.

Key Features

  • The clubface is twisted open on the high-toe and closed on the low-heel to produce straighter shots on those mishits.
  • The Hammerhead Slot makes the sweet spot bigger by increasing ball speed and forgiveness across the entire club face.
  • The Geocoustic Technology reduces sole volume for a bigger sweet spot and improves sound and feel at impact

Fairway Wood

Fairway Wood: 3 Wood: TaylorMade M1 2017 (15 degrees)

Shaft: Mitsubishi Diamana White D+ 80TX

The TaylorMade M1 2017 fairway wood is one of the longest and most adjustable woods TaylorMade has released. The M1 2017 model also features a new open-channel Speed Pocket that assists in generating distance without sacrificing any of the club’s forgiveness. It is made with an advanced drop-step sole design that has recessed the weights to help reduce drag through any turf and stabilize the clubhead speed. Lastly, the M1 2017 was also created with a new ultra-lightweight, aluminum loft sleeve that offers up to 12 different settings ranging over 4 degrees for personalization. Not matter what fairway shot you may encounter, the TaylorMade M1 2017 is certain to perform beyond expectation.

Hybrid: Taylormade M3 4 Hybrid (21 degrees)

Shaft: Mitsubishi Tensei White CK 100HY TX

If you are looking for a hybrid for better shots from the fairway, then the TaylorMade M3 4 hybrid is certainly a great option. This hybrid comes with a generous, rounded head that gives any golfer the confidence when they are faced with a longer fairway shot. The M3 4 was designed to include a deep center of gravity and the same Geocoustic section that was first revealed in other breakthrough M series hybrids. This Geocoustic section has been placed in a different location, however, in the TaylorMade M3 4 hybrid, which further improves launch and forgiveness. Utilizing weight pads that are placed on each side of the sweet spot, these weights were designed to improve forgiveness on any off-center strikes that may happen. TaylorMade’s Speed Pocket located on the sole is widened on the M4 hybrid to give players more help on shots struck low on the clubface. Even if you have played with prior M series hybrids, the TaylorMade M3 4 is certainly a hybrid worth the upgrade.

Key Features

  • The generous, rounded head provides players confidence for airborne shots.
  • Designed with a deep center of gravity and the same Geocoustic section that was a revolutionary breakthrough for TaylorMade.
  • The Geocoustic section is located toward the center and heel, which should improve launch and forgiveness.
  • Weight pads on each side of the sweet spot are also designed to improve forgiveness on off-center strikes.p>
  • The Speed Pocket on the sole is wider for more help on shots struck lower on the clubface.
