Driver

Driver: TaylorMade M4 (10.5 degrees)

Shaft: Mitsubishi Diamana White LEX D+ 70TX Prototype

TaylorMade is known for precision engineering to enhance performance and the TaylorMade M4 shows it. This driver is packed with numerous features including Twist Face technology, a new Hammerhead Slot, and Geocoustic sole design. Combining these features gives the M4 incredible distance due to a much larger sweet spot. First, the Twist Face is arranged to reduce side spin and deliver straighter shots. This is accomplished by providing more loft in the high-toe and less loft in the low-heel which results in a more consistent spin in common mishits. Secondly, the Hammerhead Slot further enlarges the sweet spot and increases the ball speed low on the face while preventing unwanted spin for added distance. Finally, the integrated Geocoustic technology reduces sole volume and enables a larger, more forgiving face allowing players to make consistent drives. This is a phenomenal driver and by offering the high performing features that players seek, it’s certain that the TaylorMade M4 will be a favorite on Tour.

Key Features

  • The clubface is twisted open on the high-toe and closed on the low-heel to produce straighter shots on those mishits.
  • The Hammerhead Slot makes the sweet spot bigger by increasing ball speed and forgiveness across the entire club face.
  • The Geocoustic Technology reduces sole volume for a bigger sweet spot and improves sound and feel at impact
