Bushnell has long led the way in golf distance measuring devices. As long as I can remember, they’ve been making some of the most accurate, technologically advanced rangefinders on the market.
New for 2023 is their Pro X3 rangefinder. This rangefinder has more functions and features then anything Bushnell has ever come out with.
We’re going to need some time to go through them all, so let’s get right to it.
Key Features
- Home elevation adjustment lets you preset your conditions so you’ll always have accurate gross and adjusted yardages.
- Dual display makes it easy to switch between bright red and crisp black color schemes.
- Pin seeker feature flashes and gives you a jolt when you’ve locked in on the flag.
Who Should Buy the Bushnell Pro X3 Rangefinder?
Golfers that like tech and are looking for the most accurate yardages are going to benefit most from the Bushnell Pro X3.
This rangefinder is more than worth the investment for golfers that expect quality, and don’t want to leave anything to chance when it comes to getting accurate yardages.

Design and Technology
This rangefinder has more features than any other rangefinder out there. But they aren’t useless bells and whistles. Each function serves a distinct purpose and is engineered to give you accurate information so you can play your best golf.
The scope and graphics are unbelievably vivid and clear. No matter the lighting conditions you find yourself in, the Pro X3 clearly defines your target and is easy to read.
The all-new locking slope switch is a neat feature. With the simple flip of the switch, you can lock the slope mode in the on or off position. Make sure it’s off when you’re playing in a tournament.
Most rangefinders have a single color for their display. The Pro X3 has two, red and black. It’s easy to switch back and forth with the toggle.
Previous versions of this rangefinder have vibrated when they lock in on the flag. The Pro X3 still gives you a buzz, but it also features a ring that flashes around the flag for an added layer of assuredness.
The Bite magnetic bar attaches easily to any metal surface, like the frame of your cart. You’ll never have to worry about it falling off flopping out of a cup holder or cubby. Losing rangefinders is an expensive habit (I know), and that worry is alleviated with the Pro X3.
A lot of rangefinders are susceptible to damage if they get wet or dropped on the ground. You don’t have to worry about that with the Pro X3. Its rubber-armored metal housing is IPX7 waterproof and shockproof.
When it comes to tech and features, Bushnell thought of everything with the Pro X3.

Our Experience
Bushnell has been a name we at Golfer’s Authority have trusted for as long as we can remember. That’s why it was no surprise when we were blown away by the features and performance of the Pro X3.
It’s durable, waterproof housing can handle almost anything you throw at it. Even heavy rainstorms and the accidental drop on the cart path.
The added feature of the flashing red ring around the flag is great too. In previous models, the JOLT feature would activate on something other than the flag, making it difficult to know if you had the correct yardage.
I’m an especially big fan of the BITE magnet. As someone who’s afraid of losing my rangefinder every time I play, I no longer have to worry.
Conclusion
It comes as no surprise that Bushnell has yet again released an industry-leading rangefinder in the Pro X3. They’ve been doing it for years.
