I’m going to start this guide off with a course that’s tied to a University. You guys know how cool I think these tracks are. In this case we’re talking about the Course at Sewanee, home of the University of the South Tigers.
This course was renovated by Gil Hanse in 2013. With that said, the original routing remains the same.
Even though there are only nine holes at this facility, they’re nine of the most memorable holes I’ve ever played. Whereas many courses have holes that seem to blend together, each one leaves an indelible impression at Sewanee.
Though not overly long, the shot values here demand thoughtful precision. Miss it in the wrong spot and you’ll pay the price.
A must play in Tennessee.
