There’s no shortage of old, iconic golf courses in the Northeast. Pequabuck Golf Club is no exception.
Built in 1902, this track is a stearn test of golf even though it’s only a par 69. With just two par fives and five difficult par threes, you’ll need to think your way around here if you want to score well.
Small, treacherous greens have been known to embarrass even the best putters. Stay below the hole is the rule of thumb.
This is classic New England golf with tight fairways lined with a stately mix of coniferous and deciduous trees and plenty of water to negotiate.
If you get the chance to tee it up at Pequabuck Golf Club, I’m told it’s a round you won’t soon forget.
