I’m going to be a little vulnerable and share something with you. . . When I was a little kid and my dad first introduced me to the game of golf, I dreamed of playing golf against the best in the world. With that said, this ball still has a soft feel on and around the greens. It doesn’t feel like you’re putting with a rock.
ODIN X1 Golf Ball
If you’re a lower handicap with a faster than average swing speed, the ODIN X golf ball is for you.
This three-piece ball has a urethane cover which gives it a remarkably soft feel around the greens where you need it most.
High compression increases the spin properties of the ODIN X, so working the ball into those tucked flags and around doglegs is a lot easier than with other balls.
Golfers that have put the ODIN X into play say it’s quite comparable to the Pro V1X and Taylormade TP5.

Our Experience
Like I said, I was more than a little skeptical when I first heard about ODIN golf balls. I mean the fact that I could get paid to play them was cool, but I had my doubts about how they’d perform.
I was in for a pleasant surprise. As someone that swings the club faster than I probably should, I chose to take the ODIN X1 out for a test drive.
I noticed a difference right away. Not only was this ball just as long (maybe longer) than the premium balls I normally play with, it was incredibly responsive on and around the greens. It felt great coming off the putter face and I played the same ball for multiple rounds. That never happens for me.
