You know I’m a huge fan of courses that are tied to schools. In fact, it’s my goal to play every university course in the country. I’ve yet to check this one off my list but I’m motivated after hearing from all you about it.
From what I’ve heard, this course is the perfect blend between classic design and modern features. Viewed on Google Earth, the tree lined fairways scream parkland, old school. While that holds true to an extent, this track has some modern features that are distinct. Large, undulating greens and expansive bunkers give this course some teeth and make it visually intimidating in spots.
If you want to practice, this is the spot as the facilities are state of the art. That makes sense since the men’s and women’s golf teams call this special place home.
