Izzo Tru Vu Trainer Hitting Net – Course Style
Let’s face it. You can’t always get to the course to practice. That doesn’t mean you can’t still get in some reps though. Thanks to the Izzo Tru Vu hitting net, you can practice anywhere, indoors or outdoors, that you have room to set up. While a lot of other hitting nets are nothing more than just that, the Izzo Tru Vu will have you feeling like you’re out on the course. It doesn’t get much better than that.
One of the things that used to drive me crazy when I was first learning the game as a child, was not having easy access to a golf course, or at least a place to hit balls. My family lived far away and the only time I got to go was when my dad played with his friends on weekends.
Maybe getting to the course to work on your game is difficult for some of you too.
Well, I’ve got good news. No longer do you have to find a driving range and pay for balls to get some quality practice in. The advent of hitting nets has made it feasible to get some reps in just about anywhere you have room to make a full swing.
And the folks at Izzo have come up with a hitting net that trumps all others. It’s their Tru View hitting net.
Let me tell you why this net takes the cake.
Key Features
- Realistic view makes it feel like you’re out on the course.
- Dye sublimination is as realistic as it gets.
- Can be used indoors or outdoors.
Who Should Buy the Izzo Tru View Trainer Hitting Net?
The answer to this question is pretty simple. If you’re a serious golfer that can’t always get to the course to get your practice in, the Tru Vu is for you.
It’s high-def colors and hole layouts are as close as it gets to being out on the actual course.
While a lot of hitting nets don’t have much surface area and make you feel claustrophobic, the Tru Vu is huge by comparison. You’ll feel free to swing away to your heart’s content.
Bottom line, if you’re serious about getting better wherever you’re at, the Tru Vu is sure to help you get on the fast track.
Design and Technology
When it comes to practice hitting nets, there’s only so much design and tech that can go in. I’m here to tell you that Izzo incorporated more design features into the Tru Vu than anything I’ve ever seen.
With most range nets, you’re just banging balls into the mesh and your only feedback is how the shot felt off the clubface. You don’t really know where you’re aimed, if you’re swinging in tempo, etc.
That’s where the dye sublimination of this net makes all the difference. When you get over the ball and look at the target, it’s like you’re on a real hole, hitting a real shot. It takes a lot of the guesswork out of the equation.
Even better, Izzo offers both traditional and links, fairway and approach backdrops. So, no matter what type of shot you’re keen on practicing, there’s a background for it.
Specs
The Tru Vu is expansive and gives you plenty of room to make as big a swing as you want. It measures 7.5 feet high, by 7.5 feet wide, by 1 foot in diameter. You won’t feel confined in the least.
It’s tremendously easy to set up and take down, and even comes with a nylon carry bag that weighs next to nothing. You’ll have no problem taking the Tru Vu wherever you want to go.
Our Experience
I’ve seen the Tru Vu up close and I’m here to tell you the graphics on the screen look like you’re out on a real course. They’re sharp, bright, and vivid.
Like I said, I’ve tried out my fair share of hitting nets, and honestly, they’re all pretty much the same. Except for the Tru Vu. It’s larger size and ultra-clear screens simulate on-course conditions more than any other practice net on the market.
Conclusion
Let’s face it. You can’t always get to the course to practice. That doesn’t mean you can’t still get in some reps though.
