Designed by 13-time PGA Tour winner, Craig Stadler, Grand Elk Golf Club is set amongst lush meadows at wetlands that form the head of the Colorado River.
The course sits on 520 sprawling acres just 90 minutes from Denver.
The heathland, Scottish-style design gives this track a links feel that affords you plenty of shot options both into and around the greens.
At an elevation of 7,295 feet, the golf ball goes a long way here. Before your round, be sure to hit some balls and dial in your yardages. Oh, try not to get too distracted by the vistas of the Continental Divide and Rocky Mountain National Park too.
Truly one of the most beautiful courses in all of Colorado, I’m a big fan of Grand Elk Golf Club.
