Called “The Wood”, Charwood Golf Club is about as downhome a place as you’re going to find. The course has been family owned and operated since the 1960’s.
Locals and visitors keep coming back to Charwood not just for the great golf, but because of how they’re treated. Chances are you’ll be on a first name basis with the staff if you play here more than once.
The course itself isn’t long, but it’s fun to play. The fairways on the front nine are open and encourage you to let the big dog eat. While the back nine is narrower, there are still plenty of opportunities for red numbers.
Ask anyone that’s played here, and they’ll tell you it’s an experience you won’t forget.
