The Heather Course at Boyne Highlands was named “National Course of the Year” in 2019. Though I haven’t played here personally, I’m told it’s more than deserving of such high praise.
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1966, this course has a history rich in prestigious championships and great players.
The layout is traditional, yet timeless. Tree lined fairways, slick greens, and a number of hazards render this course fun, fair, and challenging.
