You might not know it, but Hilton Head Island is just a short drive away from Savannah. That’s why Oyster Reef Golf Club is a must play if you happen to be in the Savannah area.
Rees Jones designed this track that opened in 1982. Since then, the course has continued to receive awards and accolades from the likes of Golfweek and Golf Digest.
Set on more than 190 acres, Oyster Reef winds through lagoons and lush native vegetation. Views of the ocean abound, and you can bet on seeing plenty of wildlife.
You won’t forget hole six. A par that measures some 192 yards from all the way back, the tee shot plays toward an awe-inspiring backdrop of Port Royal Sound. One of the most iconic holes on the island.
Excellent service, a memorable course, Oyster Reef is more than worth the trip.
