Deerfield Golf Club

Deerfield Golf Club is located in the community of Newark.  And it’s quite the place.

Set on 145 acres of rolling, wooded terrain, this is a traditional parkland layout.  Holes bend both left and right, so you’ll have to move the ball both directions.  Make sure you hit it straight because the fairways are narrow too.

When I come to play here it’s going to be on a Sunday.  Why?  Because the Sunday Brunch experience is unlike anything you’ll find anywhere else.  From what the locals say, the buffet is endless.  It not only features all the traditional favorites, there are countless creative takes from the area’s top culinary talent.  Chances are I’ll make an early morning tee time because I’ll probably need a nap after this meal.
