Our Experience
The team at TRUE Linkswear believe they have created the ideal golf shoe for the largest demographic of golfers. To evaluate their work, we put the True Knits on our feet. Using the True Knit on the range, walking and riding for 36 holes, and even heading out to nightly entertainment, our feet remained comfortable and well prepared for each terrain. My biggest concern when wearing golf shoes with a sleek profile on the course is how they will perform during changing lies or when the grass is wet. Molded rubber bottoms always leave the possibility of slipping if not infused with adequate tread patterns. The True Knits performed better than any other athletic or casual style golf shoe I have ever worn. I was shocked at how well the True Knits kept the dew away from my feet and held me securely to the ground through my entire swing even on uphill and downhill shot attempts.
The True Knits was immediately the most comfortable golf shoes I have ever had on my feet. My longest days on the course typically consist of two or three hours of product testing, a 30-minute warm up pre-round and 18 holes. Going through this routine often leaves my feet tired and demand I change my shoes immediate after completing my round. The True Knits are the only shoes I have ever worn that have made it on my feet all the way to my house and back out with my wife to grab a bite to eat. I will find it most difficult to lace anything else up as I head to the course.
