TaylorMade claims that everyone gets faster due to its proprietary process of optimizing every driver using its tuning resin injection.

During my testing with TaylorMade for the M6 driver I was immediately surprised by how forgiving this driver is. Miss-strikes in the toe and heel seemed to retain ball speed and managed to stay closer to the fairway. The M6 is unique in its ability to be forgiving in a relatively low-spin model. I believe that the M6 will be TaylorMade’s best-selling product due to its diverse performance. The M6 is long no matter what speed you swing at and it is much more stable than the M5.
I quickly felt confident and relaxed with the M6 driver. I was set to a usual position of 10.5-degrees dialed down to 9.25 with a slightly open club face. My miss is to the left and using the loft sleeve to manipulate my shot shape is invaluable for my confidence in my swing. Tensei CK Pro Orange in the 70TX model was my shaft of choice with my typical Tour Velvet grip. The M6 is a driver that I instantly loved and much preferred over the less forgiving M5 model.

The TaylorMade M6 is available in three head lofts and two types. The standard model and the D-Type. The D-Type driver is made with more weight in the heel to give players fighting a slice more help. Each M6 driver is built to the maximum volume size of 460 cubic centimeters. Lofts available in the standard model at 9, 10.5, and 12 degrees. The D-Type comes in lofts of either 9 degrees or 10.5 degrees. Both models feature a loft sleeve that is adjustable up to 4 degrees.
Stock options for the M6 include the Fujikura Atmos Orange shaft in 50-gram weights and amateur, regular, and stiff flexes.
