Sun Mountain Golf Club Glider Meridian was my travel companion on the way to the United States for the 2022 Masters, and it safely transported my clubs, as well as a variety of other items, there and back.
Despite having only used one other travel cover before, the ClubGlider Meridian is easily the best golf travel bag in my opinion, having stood in airport queues at both Heathrow and Atlanta with many other traveling golfers. Because no other travel covers had wheels or legs, I was the only golfer not picking up my travel cover and moving it a couple of yards at a time to move up the queue.
The ClubGlider Meridian made the experience much more pleasant, and I was the envy of everyone else at the airport who was using it.
It simply glides around the airport, as the name implies, relieving stress from your back, arms, and wrists while maneuvering. The legs are strong, and the wheels roll smoothly. It occasionally glides a little too easily, so some kind of brake would be useful. The hard back protects the frame of the legs, giving you peace of mind that your club is safe. The thick padding around the top of the bag should prevent accidents with your driver and fairway woods.
The bottom and middle sections aren’t as padded or waterproof as some other chunkier leather options I saw on my travels, but they cost more than the Glider and aren’t worth it without the legs/wheels combo.
