You will get: Putting mirror can be used indoors and outdoors. Alignment lines make it easy to get into the proper stance. Modular slots and training gates allow you to customize your practice.

If I were to ask you what you think the fastest way to start shooting lower scores is, what would you say?  Hitting your driver farther and straighter?  Knocking your irons closer to the hole?  The answer for golfers of all abilities is to make more putts.  Studies have shown that nearly 50% of all your shots come on the green.

If you’re going to putt your best, being able to repeat your stroke and start the ball online is essential.  One of the best ways I’ve found to start doing just that is with the Back 2 Basics Pro Path putting mirror.

This training device is endorsed by one of the game’s best putters, Cameron Smith, and it’s super easy to use anywhere you have room to make a putting stroke.

So, if making more putts and shooting lower scores sounds like fun to you, keep reading, because this training aid will change the way you putt forever.

Key Features

  • Mirror trains you to groove a consistent inside-down-the-line putting stroke.
  • Shoulder alignment line ensures your posture is perfect every time.
  • Staggered putting gates allow for customization of drills and dynamic practice.

Who Should Buy the Back 2 Basics Pro Path Putting Mirror

The Back 2 Basics Pro Path Putting mirror is a great tool for all golfers.  Whether you’re just starting out with the game or have been playing for decades and are a great putter, the Pro Path will help you improve.

And it doesn’t matter if you’re right or left-handed.  The mirror has reversible sides to accommodate both.

In short, everyone could stand to make more putts and the Pro Path can help you do just that.

Design and Technology

On the surface, the Pro Path putting mirror’s design doesn’t appear all that complex.  But in actuality, it took years of research and study to perfect its design and different functions.  That work was by and large performed by Richard Woodhouse and Grant Field, both multiple Australian PGA Coach of the Year winners.  These guys know their stuff.

The first thing that stands out to me with this training aid are the modular slots and putting gates that allow you to customize your training.  Together, they groove the path of your stroke and help you start the ball online every time.

Stroke path, eye, and shoulder lines are vibrant and easily visible on the mirror.  These lines all make it easy to make sure you achieve perfect posture before you take the putter back.  Like any shot in golf, setup is critical if you’re going to make a proper stroke.

The Pro Path comes with a sleek microfiber carrying case that not only keeps it protected, but is great for cleaning too.

Lastly, you’ll receive an in-depth instructional manual that’s full of different drills and practice routines to help you get the most out of your putting practice.

Unlike a lot of training aids that are complex and difficult to use, the Pro Path is simple.  All you have to do is set it on the ground, put the gates in your desired location, place a golf ball in the center, line your body and putter up to the corresponding lines, and pull the trigger.

Specs

Another feature I really like about the Back 2 Basics Pro Path mirror is its compact size.  It measures just 17” long by 8.5” wide.

It’s made of plexiglass and aluminum.

Our Experience

As I’ve talked about widely, and many of our readers are aware, I’ve spent a lot of time working on my golf game this year.  My goal has been to get down to a single-digit handicap for the first time in my life.  It has involved a ton of practice.

A lot of that practice has come on the putting green using the Back 2 Basics Pro Path putting mirror.  Before I started using the Pro Path, I was a streaky putter at best.  Some days I could putt really well, but others I was ice-cold.  Bottom line, my stroke was inconsistent from one day to the next.

However, after even just a few hours spent working with the Pro Path, my putting improved dramatically.  I was able to master my setup thanks to the alignment lines, and I grooved a stroke that felt natural and repeatable.

There’s no question I’ve become a better putter; it’s reflected in my scores.
