AutoFlex Driver Shaft

It wasn’t intended for the Autoflex shaft to be utilized exclusively as a lengthy drive shaft. Instead, Dumina Co. designed the shaft with the goal of assisting golfers with slow and average swing speeds to swing faster without exerting more force. Having said that, the Autoflex shaft line up is capable of swing speeds ranging from 65 mph to 150 mph or more.

Design

Autoflex shafts are lighter than standard shafts and have a substantially lower CPM thanks to their special features. A higher swing weight may result in the club head wobbling during the downswing transition because of the more flexible nature. Off-center contact could ensue, which would reduce both distance and accuracy. Many golfers find that a swing weight of D1 is ideal, but some have had great success with swing weights as low as D0 and even as high as D3 or D4.

When connected to a driver head, the raw uncut length, which is 45 inches, measures approximately 46.5 to 47 inches. There is no perfect length, and depending on the preferences of each player, the butt end can be cut to provide any desired total driver length.
